The vision for Hometree is to build a next-generation energy company that provides the services every connected home needs – kicking it all off right where it counts, with the most unloved part of the home: the boiler.
Today, Hometree has developed a revolutionary new way to buy a boiler by bringing the ease of e- commerce – speed, price transparency, the removal of sales people through video consultations – to this traditional trade. The hybrid online/offline business contracts directly with consumers, offering them a painless way to get a boiler installed, in what is a mostly offline market. Through a new central-local approach to home services we are delivering trust and clarity that continues far beyond installation, developing relationships with homeowners that will continue as new products and technologies appear.
Having been inspired by Tesla and Elon Musk’s ambition to accelerate the shift to sustainable transportation, Hometree too has been set up with a broader social mission of accelerating the shift to low carbon buildings – an important goal given buildings emit as much, if not more GHG than transportation. The founders are working hard to position Hometree as one of Europe’s leading sustainability focused start-up’s.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Hometree are looking for Business Development Executives to join the fastest growing European startup in the home services sector, based in North London.
Hometree is a tech forward brand looking for people that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. They will give you all the knowledge you need on sales and on the products offered, and just need you to be passionate about what you do and excel with customer service.
As you can imagine, this sustainable energy company already has a large list of qualified enquiries for you to contact, so there’s no cold calling!
Using a structured sales approach, you’ll be able to identify the issues with customers current boiler, taking details of their home and be able to recommend a bespoke solution and an estimated quote over the phone for your customer.
These initial calls will enable you to build a strong relationship where you will only recommend the best and most suitable options for customers, ensuring their confidence as you, the brand ambassador, for Hometree.
The next stage would be for an engineer to carry out a video survey with the potential customer, which is a brand new concept for this industry. You will keep in regular touch with your customers from the initial call through to the final sale.
